The lenders of Alabama have taken a stand to support the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program of Jacksonville State University (JSU).

The Alabama SBDC is a partnership between the Small Business Administration and JSU, providing services to small businesses in Alabama. The program helps entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting and growing a business by providing free consulting services, education, and outreach for small business owners.

In addition to providing these services through the SBDC, JSU also offers students an opportunity to gain valuable experience through research projects and internships related to entrepreneurship and small business management.

"It is with great pride that we recognize our partnership with the Small Business Administration and Jacksonville State University in supporting their efforts to provide quality training programs for entrepreneurs," said Dr. Mark Robert Smith, President & CEO of Alabama Credit Union League.

"We are proud to support the Small Business Development Center. This organization is dedicated to helping small businesses succeed in their communities and create jobs for our neighbors. They provide expert advice, guidance, and tools that help you get started. I strongly recommend them to anyone interested in starting a new business," says Latoria Williams, CEO of 1F Cash Advance in Alabama.

The SBDC is a resource for entrepreneurs who are looking to start or grow their businesses. The SBDC provides guidance on developing business plans, securing financing and marketing services as well as networking opportunities to build relationships with other service providers in the community.

The SBDC has worked with over 4,000 clients since its inception in 2007 and has helped them secure more than $600 million in loans.
