The lenders of Alabama have taken a stand to support the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program of Jacksonville State University (JSU).
The Alabama SBDC is a partnership between the Small Business Administration and JSU, providing services to small businesses in Alabama. The program helps entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting and growing a business by providing free consulting services, education, and outreach for small business owners.
In addition to providing these services through the SBDC, JSU also offers students an opportunity to gain valuable experience through research projects and internships related to entrepreneurship and small business management.

The SBDC is a resource for entrepreneurs who are looking to start or grow their businesses. The SBDC provides guidance on developing business plans, securing financing and marketing services as well as networking opportunities to build relationships with other service providers in the community.
The SBDC has worked with over 4,000 clients since its inception in 2007 and has helped them secure more than $600 million in loans.
